Sword & Shield Gen. 3 J2K+ Pickleball Paddle

The J2K+ is a Gen. 3 floating core pickleball paddle designed for advanced performance. This paddle requires a break-in period to reach its optimal operating range. Once fully broken in, the J2K+ enhances all the exceptional qualities of the original J2K, delivering superior touch, power, EXTRA POP, and control on the court.

Please note that floating core paddles, including the J2K+, are considered consumable equipment. Over time, the paddle will move through three distinct phases:

  1. Break-in Period: The paddle gradually reaches peak performance.
  2. Normal Operating Range: The paddle delivers its best playing characteristics.
  3. Breakdown Point: As the paddle nears the end of its lifespan, performance may decline, leading to less desirable playing characteristics.

    J2K+ 20 hours in

    I bought the J2K+ for a new paddle with more spin and power than the generic entry paddle I had.

    Definitely more power to get deeper returns and drives with a 75% or so controlled swing. Very gritty surface for aggressive dinks, and dwell for putting decent top spin on serves. To be clear, this paddle can do more than my limited skill can push it to. The feel and sound is great. I can hit mid court drops much better with it. Best praise is my coach loves this paddle and can spin a serve off the court consistently. I am feeling good about the purchase and that I can develop new skills with it.

    Wonderful

    This paddle is wonderful. I was using a Proton Series 1 type A. I loved that paddle. When I tried this J2TI+ , I immediately started playing better. Much quicker hand speed and better Pop and power. Not ever close. I then bought on and shared it with some pickleball friends. They bought some also. I'm a 3.5 - 4.0 player

    Still breaking it in. So far I like it . Was hoping in had a little more pop., I like the size and grit . You can put food spin on serves. I am a 3.0 player so hopefully it will improve my game.
