Got the J6CR to replace my J2NF and couldn’t be happier. It does everything better. The power is on demand and the ability to control shots and slow the game down is excellent. I love everything about it. Huge sweet spot and lots of spin.
The J6CR whas been a game changer for me after playing for 8 months with a J2FC+. There are 5 things about this paddle that have noticeably improved my game:
1.The combination of the elongated paddle shape and long handle have given me the extra reach to get balls I previously would not be able to get my paddle on
2. The crystal blue surface grips the ball and cranks out crazy top spin so balls that I would have previously hit out of bounds are now landing in.
3. Pop and Power are high which allow me to focus on top spin and shot placement rather than raw pace. Punch returns are crazy quick, drives are low and fast, and flicks pop off effortlessly.
4. Swing weight feels low which means ninja quick hands in a gun fight at the kitchen line.
5. Big, uniform soft spot means the ball goes where I aim even if I hit off center.
I never thought a paddle would have such an effect on my playing but this paddle showed me how wrong I was. It has elevated me to a new level and people have noticed.
I switched from J2FC+ to J2CR crystal blue endurance. I really liked it a lot. It provides more power with about same control. I’m very impressed.
Definitely noticed a a new level of game play and looking forward to improving my game further.
PADDLE OF THE YEAR
i was using Luzz Inferno and Tornazo as well as the Hon. J6CR and this one by far is the best one yet. perfect balance and power. i hope the grit lasts forever. not only it looks nice but also very durable. would highly recommend!
Love this paddle. It was a very easy transition coming from a boomstick. I wasnt sure what to expect but it did not disappoint! After my 2 hour 4.0+ competitive session, I added some weight and drilled for 3 hours, and it made it even more responsive! Nothing disappointed me!!! The twist weight was fast. I purchased the 26mm elongated for more touch...again, the boomstick lacked that. It weighed on at 7.56 before I added weight and brought it up to 8.36. I added my hesacore grip and im all set!!!!
I haven’t ever owned a Selkirk Before, but this is a great all-court paddle
